yep - BM dealers can be a bunch of tight asses for sure. The folks who ride them are clear that they are "just folks" but the dealers- well the word "snotty" comes to mind
Go back and ask specfically about the 650 singles.
There is no way they would sell for the prices of the bikes you were looking at.
How many more bikes do you want to buy? - the BMW will last for years - my 1974 R90S still has 100% parts availability - I cannot even get sparkplugs for my old TC250 Suzuki and that is a big issue for me.
